About EduSmartLive

EduSmartLive is a free collection of AI-powered tools for teachers and students. Teachers use it to draft lesson plans, quizzes, worksheets, rubrics, and feedback; students use it to get unstuck on homework, plan essays, build flashcards, and organize their study time. The aim is simple: take the repetitive, blank-page part of school work off your plate so more of your time goes to teaching and learning.

What you'll find here

  • 16 teacher tools — lesson planning, assessment, differentiation, grading support, and parent communication.
  • 18 student tools — homework explanations, essay planning and feedback, citations, flashcards, summaries, and study schedules.
  • A quiz builder, study planner, and visual content studio for work that needs more than a single generated document.
  • A blog with practical guides on teaching, studying, and using AI responsibly in school.

You can browse everything on the tools page. The interface is available in English, Spanish, French, Arabic, and Khmer.

How the tools work

Most tools follow the same pattern: you fill in a short form (subject, grade level, topic, and a few options), and your inputs are sent to a large language model along with instructions written for that specific task. The result comes back in a few seconds, and you can copy it, export it to PDF, Word, or PowerPoint, or share it with a link. A few tools work differently — the Research Paper Finder searches an open index of scholarly works, and the Exam Countdown runs entirely in your browser.

What AI gets wrong, and what we ask of you

AI-generated material is a first draft. Language models can state incorrect facts with confidence, produce an answer key with a wrong answer, or miss the specific requirements of your curriculum. Please read everything before you use it: check facts and answers, adjust the level for your students, and rewrite anything that doesn't sound like you. For students, the tools are meant to explain and guide — submitting generated work as your own is against most schools' academic integrity rules, and it doesn't help you learn.

Please don't enter students' full names or other personal information into any tool. Initials or a short description work just as well.

Our blog and editorial approach

Alongside the tools, we publish articles and guides. Some posts are drafted with the help of AI and are reviewed and edited by a person before they are published. We aim for practical, accurate content: concrete examples, honest limits, and no invented statistics. If you spot an error, tell us and we'll correct it.

How the site is funded

The tools are free to use, with a daily limit on AI generations to keep running costs manageable. The site is supported by advertising. Ads are served by third parties such as Google; our privacy policy explains what that means for cookies and how to opt out of personalized ads.
